Narnia The setting of my book takes place a long, long time ago. When Princes and Kings were still popular. The Medieval times. The Medieval times were good times especially in Narnia , a place where flowers grew and birds sang ,until the White Witch came. Her castle looms in icy coldness on the valley between the fir trees. After she came , animals hid and no one dared to disagree with her or else she would turn them to stone. She made Narnia so that it was always winter , and never Christmas. After Aslan, the true king arrived at Narnia the Witch’s magic started wearing our. First, he set Father Christmas free ,and then out of the blue Christmas came! Trees were decorated , garlands of holly were hung, and joy was in the air. When Christmas was over, the creatures of Narnia saw something they haven’t for a long time. Spring. Flowers bloomed, and everywhere you looked ice was melting , and sun rays covered the land in warmth. I think this setting helps ,because it creates a dramatic entrance to Narnia after Lucy went through the wardrobe and they described what it looks and feels like. Also, after the really magnificent changes in the season and holiday the author made sure that we read every word. He made every word illuminating. I think every setting that was in this book was well described , and worked well with the story.
