The Lightning Thief
Fred met Percy by attacking him in the Half-Blood Camp because his friend told him that Percy stole the master lightning rod from Zeus and Hades wants it from Zeus. When Fred attacked Percy he tried to get him while Percy was riding a canoe. But when Fred went to go attack Percy water hands came out of the water and grabbed him he got thrown into the water some how. While Fred was in the water Grover went to go attack him and he jumped out of the canoe. Fred was exhausted while Grover was attacking him, But somehow Fred got out of Grover's grasp and got away. But Camp Half-Blood is still hunting Fred down. And that is how Fred met Percy and Grover and all of Camp Half-Blood.
